CORAL soundproof enclosures are intended for industrial applications where it is necessary to contain the noise generated by the fan motor while maintaining structural integrity, accessibility, and integration with the system's ductwork. Available in various sizes, from Box 1 to Box 7, these enclosures are constructed from galvanized steel sandwich panels with a sound-absorbing and sound-insulating interior lining. The COMPOSIT version offers a sound level reduction of approximately 10 dB(A), while the PLUS version adds a soundproof floor and can be equipped with optional cooling labyrinths for high-pressure fans. The COMPOSIT version uses galvanized steel sandwich panels lined internally with a high-density 100% polyester fibre mat providing both sound-absorbing and sound-insulating properties, with an insulation thickness of 50 mm. Each enclosure comes complete with vibration-damping mounts for the fan base and flanged vibration-damping couplings at the inlet and outlet, essential for limiting the transmission of mechanical vibrations to the structure and piping. In operation, the noise generated by the motorized fan is attenuated by the sandwich panels: the inner polyester fibre lining absorbs part of the sound energy, while the galvanized sheet metal structure contains and isolates the propagation of noise toward the external environment. The result is an efficient, robust industrial soundproof enclosure that can be integrated into extraction, filtration and ventilation systems where noise reduction is an essential requirement.
