The CTA 4 range

The structure of sheet metal panels bolted together allows the possibility of creating a double wall with sound-insulating and sound-absorbing material. Fastening the panels by bolts is more reliable than by screws, giving the structure high rigidity and at the same time easy disassembly. The control dampers are opposed-movement flaps constructed of sheet steel, the pivots of which are housed on the vertical segments of the frame. The dampers can be manual type or equipped with servo control. The heating section of the AHU provides for the housing of hot-water or electric resistance-fed coils with a number of ranks suitable for the expected temperature jumps. The hot water coils are made of copper tubes with aluminum pack finning. The coils can also be provided for supply to chilled water produced by a chiller for chilling/conditioning incoming air. The fan section consists of double-intake fans with basket-type blades, coupled to the motor by means of belts and pulleys mounted on a common sheet metal frame and supported by anti-vibration mounts. The motors are mounted on galvanized steel slides accompanied by a single operating screw making belt tensioning or replacement operations exceedingly simple.
