The Venturi 2000 / 2000 II3DSTI range

Water filter applicable in filtration systems for production processes that generate water-insoluble dust, e.g., metals, composites, resins, aggregates. It is also used for dusts that generate glowing particles capable of starting fires or explosions in dry filters. Technical description: The venturi filter consists of two basic elements: the venturi, in which the contact phase between liquid and the air to be dusted is produced, and the cyclone separator where the residual separation between the air and the droplets that have captured the dust is carried out. Operation: Dusty air, sucked in by a high-pressure fan, passes through venturi throats where it undergoes exceptional speed acceleration in sequence, while water recirculated by a pump is fed into them. This acceleration of the air produces the atomization of the water into millions of very fine droplets that capture the polluting dust. The dusty air-water mixture tangentially enters the cylindrical body of the separator, in which spiral movements take place. Centrifugal forces push the water droplets with dust against the wall, while the purified air escapes upward.
